I have a degree in English and Philosophy and I am currently doing my masters in English Literature at Uppsala University.
Experience
I am currently completing the online TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I hope to complete it in the coming months. I was born in Sweden but I grew up in Ireland so I completed all my schooling and obtained my degree there. Last year I was secretary of the International Society at my University. I applied for this role because I was very interested in helping international students get to know the area, the university, and help them make friends with all their fellow students. The majority of these students were from non-English speaking countries so a lot of my time was also spent helping them with their English over a coffee at lunch or checking over their assignments before submission. I was part of the society from September 2013 until May 2014.

Hobbies
I have a huge interest in reading and learning about literature. I firmly believe in the importance of studying philosophy, I always try and bring aspects of it into my university papers, it is a great tool for opening your mind! I also have an interest in art and design. I spend a lot of my free time drawing and painting and I have attended many art classes over the years. Finally, keeping fit is a big part of my life. I go running or to the gym five to six times a week. I think it is so important for your mental health, it is a perfect way to clear the mind after a tough day and you come out feeling more energetic and positive!
